Visit to India

In december, Gurpreet and I finally had the chance to visit India after a long awaited period and the first time since we got married in 2005. The trip was fantastic, we got to see the family, attend 2 weddings and a reception party, travel to Mumbai and Rajasthan.

Wow! so much has changed their since the last time we were there. Its the spirit of the people there which just amazes us and makes us feel at home. Can't wait to go back more often on a regular basis.

Amsterdam at 7am

We had a 7 hr layover in Amsterdam on the way back to Seattle from Delhi. Instead of sitting at the airport, we decided to check out the city at 7am. Not a lot was open.....

After a lot of hard work and bribing, she finally let me into her circle of friends just before we left.

Trip to Neemrana Fort in Rajasthan

After getting back from Bombay, Gurpreet, Tisha, Tushar and I took a quick 2Hr trip the next day from Delhi to go visit the restored Neemrana fort in Rajasthan.

The wedding itself took place on the 22nd night at the Race Course in Bombay. Wearing a woolen suit was probably a very bad idea on my part considering the temperature was in the 80's....

The wedding itself was grand and we had tons of fun being part of the Barat. Yes Kanika, we represented Amit's side and and not you. You should have paid us more.....
